Why Skype or Online Lessons?
Online guitar instruction works great for many people. If you have tried a group class, you will soon see there is nothing that compares to interactive, customized one-on-one lessons without the limitations of a larger class. Thanks to modern technology, distance and location is no longer an issue. This allows you to pick the best instructor that is right for you. Students with challenging work schedules now have more scheduling options online than what may be available locally. You'll get my full attention as we meet at a convenient time in the comfort of your own home while we learn one of guitar's greatest genres - Flamenco Guitar. Skype webcam lessons also generally cost less than meeting in person and we can still cover the same great material. I'm looking forward to our first lesson together!
Learn Chords and Rhythm
One of the first things we'll do is learn some chords and rhythm that applies in flamenco rumba music. I will guide you each step of the way with straightforward exercises and one-on-one coaching necessary for your success. Some students are already playing cool flamenco rhythms in a matter of weeks or a few short months.
Spanish Solos and Lead Guitar
If there's anything better than the powerful sound of latin guitar chord progressions, it just might be the soulful fiery lead solos that give flamenco guitar it's signature sound! Once we learn some rhythm structure I'll quickly take you into the world of lead guitar. With my 20+ years of lead guitar experience, you can be assured proper individual attention and focus. Along with that will be music theory for those that want it, and learning the right scales and right way to solo in the realm of Spanish Flamenco Guitar.
If you are interested in learning with me, please get in touch, and you can ask any questions about lessons, too. Sessions fill up fast so don't hesitate to contact me.

Do I need prior musical experience?
Any prior guitar or musical experience helps but is not required. Over half of my students have never played guitar before. All you need is a guitar, setting aside your weekly practice time at home, and the desire to learn
What if I don't own a guitar yet?
You will need a guitar to practice with, preferably a classical or flamenco guitar. If you don't own one yet, we can still talk and setup your first lesson, and I'll be happy to tell you how to get a very good and affordable guitar. It's always best to talk to a teacher before randomly buying a guitar. I can help you in the process.
How long does it take to play?
Learning guitar is a journey, not a race. Anything that is worthwhile takes time. However I have seen some students be able to play simple songs in a few short months. The best advice I can give you is this - if you want to learn to play guitar, it can happen for you quicker than you know. I will show you how to include weekly practice into your routine, if you stay at this each week, you will learn to play.
Can I just try a few lessons or is there a big commitment?
There is never a huge longterm commitment with my lessons. But for best results, you should plan on a longterm commitment to playing. You can buy one lesson to see how it feels for you, after that lessons are simply a month-to-month agreement, and you only pay for a month at a time. Start now - and think of how far along you'll be in the coming months! You are never too old to start guitar. Get in touch with me today to setup your first lesson!
